I have visited Madame Carolyn a few times and each time I felt she "hit the nail on the head". She predicted a job change, a vacation and she saw that I would move in with a roommate, all of which I never thought would happen at the time of the reading. The last time I saw her, she predicted that I would have a baby just before or after I turned 30. At the time, I was not seeing anyone, and I was very much into myself and having fun. I started seeing someone a couple months later and imagine my surprise when I found out I was pregnant and going to have a baby 3 months before I turned 30. Carolyn Says: Well, now this is a good question. How do you know a good reader? One way is to talk to other people who have been to a reader. That is one of the reasons that we have this Guest Book. You can see what other people have to say about me. I feel that I have been blessed with a very special gift. But I think that everyone has this gift, but they have been taught not to use it. Also, I try not to be weird, but merely to help people see their best possible future.
I think i am Psychic as i am sure that when i was using a ouigie board i had a brief contact with a deceased family member, i've also tradgically predicted death in the family, is this my doing or just a coinsidence, am i psychic i'm yearning to know!
Carolyn Says: You could be psychic, but it is
important to decide how you want your psychic energy to manifest itself.
Remember you are in control of this energy. I don't care to predict death
or even see death in the future for my family or my clients. I prefer to
deal with death and other events that aren't changeable when they happen.
I have trained myself and my students to screen out unchangeable events in their
lives by saying aloud, "Unless I can prevent a negative event, I won't see
it." By saying this again and again it teaches your mind to see only
changeable events.
If you see a death then, you know it is changeable and then you can pray for the
person you are predicting for.
I personally don't have anything to do with the Ouija Board as I think it is a
game and not usually reliable. It is easy to make the planchette move with
your subconscious mind and it will tell you anything you want it to.
you should have little ways to read palms on your site too.

Carolyn Says: I would never invade someone's privacy and read their mind without their permission. When I read someone it is a two way highway. I can see them and they can see me. Permission is needed.
Dear Carolyn, I was at the Colorado RenFest last summer and you read for me and very accurately I must add. I knew immediately that you had a gift and a genuine heart. I too have the gift of psychic abilities and I was wondering how you came to accept it in yourself. I am not so afraid of it as I have been through the years. I'm actually in awe of how I can sense the feelings and psyche of others. Sometimes it can be overwhelming trying to decide what to do with such insight. Do you have any thoughts or advice on this? Also, I was wondering if you ever come across people that you cannot really do a reading for, as I've noticed that there are some people that do not spew of dynamic energy. Other times I feel an urgency to tell someone something that I sense about them because I feel it would help them tremendously. Do you get those urges at all? I am 32 and I've been sensing things since I was at least 17 or 18. I truly believe that my 11 year old daughter has the gift too. However, I do understand why you say that a young mind should develop to a certain stage before really using this gift. I'm at the point where I practically feel a responsibility to use it--not for my own sake--but because what I sense about others can help them heal or head them in the appropriate direction. Carolyn Says: You are experiencing random psychic
flashes. This is hard on you and it can make you feel scattered and burned
out. I teach my students to visualize a golden magic bubble around
them. It is beautiful, calm and safe to be inside. Around your
shoulders see a golden magic cord connecting you to God and around your ankles
see a golden magic cord connecting you to the earth. This is a centering
and grounding exercise that I was given over thirty five years ago. Do it
several times a day and eventually it teaches you to screen out random flashes
of psychic energy. It won't stop you from being psychic, but it will stop
the random flashes in crowds and at work. If you wish to develop your
psychic ability I recommend that you learn the cards, palms or any other
psychical vehicle. Find the vehicle that you enjoy learning and then when
you are using the cards, for instance, you say "I am open
psychically." When you are not using your vehicle you say, "I am
closed psychically unless I can save someone's life." Eventually
these simple exercises will teach you to find your psychic gift, control it and
use it for other people.
I don't believe that you can go up to someone and share what you pick up about
them, they must first ask to be receptive. We talked about your daughter
staying in the creative arts and not focusing on her psychic ability until she
is older. This is hard on kids, they often make decisions bases on other
people's needs and not their own.

Carolyn Says: I have put a few meanings to lines here. You probably need to find books on palm reading to understand more. You also can't read your own palms, you lose your objectivity.
I've been looking for someone that has phsychic powers but i've only found a bunch of frauds trying to cheat people out of their money. if your the real thing please say yes or no. if you are the real thing would you by any chance know about anyone who has telekinetik powers.

Madam Carolyn is fabulous. I first met her in January 2000. She told me things no one could have known and ultimately really helped me to keep my peace of mind over the next 2 years while going through a horrible divorce. I have only had two live-in person readings and the second one was February 2002. She again amazed me telling me the new love in my life was not exactly what I thought he was. Carolyn Says: If you are under 26 I would suggest that you develop yourself before you work on the psychic sense. I also recommend having hobbies that are very creative. If you are over 26 then take a class on some type of healing or psychic development. I would not be able to recommend a class, but every community has New Age bookstores. They often offer classes.

Hi, Your website is really cool, but I have a promblem, this guy who is so upsest with wichcraft has sent me a riddel and told me i had to figure it out or he will do somehthing to my other friend..... The riddle is... What can you tkae from any one but never hold in your hands? Then below that was these weird letters and question marks like a code.. Then before any of that he said " The time has come to bring death forth and raze all evil to my surface"
Carolyn Says: I would report this person to the e-mail authorities and I would not respond to him. Threats are never OK, are illegal and often subject to prosecution. Psychically no one has the power to harm you, but physically you can be harmed. I am also going to erase your e-mail from the next letter. My sister told me not to get my palm read. That it was fake and I shouldn't waste my money. But I went anyway at the NC Rennaissance Festival. Madame Carolyn told me things no one has ever known. I also tell anyone I read for that it can take up to one or more years for things I say to come true. I wonder if you didn't go to a different reader. The only days a reader would charge less than their ordinarily fee is on kids days. The rest of the time they charge $25.00.

I would recommend that you go to a bookstore and or a library and read all you can about the subject. Then always be "skeptical of anything anyone tells you unless you believe it for yourself."

Carolyn Says: DeJa vu is a natural phenomenon that happens to a lot of people. There are many theories about why this happens. Hearing voices is not a good thing and can mean a psychotic breakdown in the person hearing the voices. I always suggest that you check out the physical body and make sure you are in good health. once me and my friends were doing a ouigie board and we had candles lit all around (one 1/2 a mater from the roof) and we though it was burning a hole in the roof so we quickly stopped, turned the light on and there was nothing there. You know when wood burns and it goes red... the roof looked like that and we could have sworn a hole was burning in the roof.. but it wasn't!!

Carolyn Says: Thank you for writing to me. Dreams are very interesting. They can be either wishes or fears, they can also be our subconscious mind working something out for us and they can predict the future. I really don't like to see the future in my dreams and so I have taught myself to see things when I am awake and can do something about them. You can control this ability to dream negative things that come true. You can say to yourself, "I will see only positive things in the future," or you could say, "Unless I can change something negative coming, I won't see it." You could also say aloud to yourself, "I will only see the future when I am awake." Remember, you can control this ability, it doesn't have to control you.

I just want to thank you for a reading that you gave me about a month ago. My life has been changed dramatically. You told me to have some medical problems checked out and to pursue seeing my doctor to check out some female issues. I did pursue this and while I was being checked, they found a hernia that I have had for quite some time. Being a female who doesn't lift heavy objects daily, it was not something that would have happened to me. I am scheduled for surgery to correct that. You also mentioned that I was having some issues at work and that I was going to make a change by the first of the year. The change was made and we are moving shortly, the stress of the job has been lifted from my shoulders. I also saw you 2 years ago after my boyfriend had passed away.
